My ability to play the guitar has brought me countless hours of joy and purpose! You can get similar effects from most instruments, but the guitar's portability and self sufficiency put it in a league of it's own!
Never be bored again!
Due to the ability to almost always bring a guitar with you and the ability to accompany yourself with it, the guitar is a unique musical tool that can almost always extinguish boredom.
I tell people all the time that I legitimately haven't been bored since I started playing the guitar when I was fifteen. If I ever don't have something to do, I can pick up my guitar and get lost in it in almost any situation.
The hardest thing about learning guitar
The hardest thing about learning the guitar is overcoming your physical limitation. Your body isn't born knowing how to play the guitar so yes, in the beginning you be physically unable to do it! I can share from my own experience that after months and years of consistent and constructive practice, playing the guitar will become a working part of your body!
My goal for my students
My goal for my students is to get them to a place where they can learn and/or create music on the guitar themselves. This to the end of combating boredom, providing an artistic output, entertaing friends and family, and enriching peoples lives with music!
Anyone can learn to play the guitar
Even though the guitar may seem hard or even physically impossible in the beginning, anyone can learn! As long as you're patient and committed you cannot fail, I'm living proof! My whole life I was always the musician who couldn't hang, but finally after many years of studying and practicing, I can express myself with music in a way that is unique and fluent!

In this course
In this course you will learn about the different parts and types of guitars, effective exercises to help your hands physically acclimate to the guitar, the foundations of how to play everything, and how to read tablature!
By the end of this course you will be able to effectively learn simple songs by looking up their tabs and/or chord progressions on the internet!
